This sharpening really draws a crowd! ✏️ Standing 20 feet tall on the shores of Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis, this enormous No. 2 pencil started life as a 180-year-old bur oak tree that was damaged during a powerful windstorm in 2017. Rather than cutting it down, John and Amy Higgins commissioned an artist to turn it into a giant pencil.
