Minecraft developer Mojang is switching the Java Edition's graphics API from OpenGL to Vulkan ahead of its Vibrant Visuals update.
Mojang states that its ongoing effort to bring Vibrant Visuals to the Java Edition will mandate a change that players should note down.
Work continues for the Vibrant Visuals update to come to Minecraft Java, and as part of that they're switching the rendering from OpenGL to Vulkan.
